Requirements:
- Applicants must be in their third year of study in a four-year program or their fourth year of study in a five-year program at an engineering school in New York state.
- They must major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, engineering technology, or surveying.
- Student must plan on making New York State their home and/or career area.
- Selection is based on work experience (25%), college activities and reccomendations (15%), essay (30%) and GPA (30%).
- Not a financial need based scholarship.
- At least ten awards distributed each year.
