Award Amount: $1,500
Requirements:
"In order to apply for the $1,500 scholarship, students should write a short (700 words) essay on the topic of learning. Feel free to choose any aspect of learning you want to cover. You can write about the most effective techniques of learning, how learning changes as person ages, formal vs unformal learning, and anything else you find fitting. We will award one essay with $1,500 and send the award via check.
The most important condition for participation is that you’re currently a college student. You can be from anywhere in the world, but we will check with your college about your attendance.
Submit your essay to scholarship@ba-bildungswissenschaft.de by February 20, 2018. We will announce the winner shortly after the deadline.
Your essay should be in .doc or .pdf format and the email subject should read “Applying for Learning Scholarship”. Don’t forget to include your contact info – name, phone, email, and address, so we can contact you and send the award in case you win. Don’t worry, everything you send us is highly confidential and we will never share/rent/sell your info.
By submitting your essay, you agree that we can publish it on our website.
Lastly, the winner from last year cannot apply again.
