Requirements:
- Write an original essay on one of the following topics:
- Are there women in cybersecurity today that you see as role models? Who and why?
- The importance of cybersecurity, i.e. its role in business and protecting society, personal information, etc.
- Where will cybersecurity be 10 years from now?
- In your perspective, what were the worst cyber attacks in 2017?
- Cybersecurity’s human and technology elements: Will technology ever be able to secure us?
- Applicants’ essays will be judged on creativity, thoughtfulness, and insight.
- All essays must be submitted in English.
- Essays should consist of 400-600 words.
- Submissions will be accepted from November 1, 2017, through May 15, 2018.
- Submit your essay and details via this online form. Note, that your introduction/bio and essay may be published on Morphisec’s blog/website or social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
- All three scholarship winners must provide proof of identity and present confirmation of current enrollment at an accredited institution.
- All colleges and universities must be accredited and must be listed on the U.S. Department of Education website or the Council for Higher Education for Israel. If school transfers are present, they will be subject to the same accreditation approval.
- The board of judges will make its decision by June 16, 2018, after which all three winners will be notified.
- Funds are provided by Morphisec, and will be made payable to the University’s Financial Aid department or deposited directly to the student’s bank account.
- This scholarship requires no application/entry fee.
