Award Amount: $2000 per semester
Requirements:
The Shinesolar.com Scholarship will award $2000 per semester to two students who meet the following criteria:
- Students must have a declared major or minor in one of the following: Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy, Alternative Fuel Resources, Conservation, Renewable Energy Finance, or other approved areas of study
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least one full-time college semester
- Students must have actively participated in a green energy-promoting project of his or her choice
- Students must complete scholarship application and 1000-word essay detailing his or her experience working on green-energy promoting project
